This January we just had the county wide art show. Seven students were chosen to participate. Bellow you will find pictures from this great event. Currently most classes are working on various clay projects. Students were asked to take a simple pinch pot form and expand on the possibilities. Bellow you will find a slide show of our progress. Welcome back to the 2019-2020 school year. My name is Mr. Woolsteen, but most people around here call me Mr.W. I am a Painter Photographer and Sculptor. I believe there are two things that can make an individual happy. One is Helping other people. The Other is being creative. I am lucky to have a job where I can do both. This Month Fifth Grade is working on One and Two Point Perspective. They are also finishing up on sculptures using the letters of their name. Fourth grade is finishing up with clay cube boxes. Third, Second, and First are working on Painting Projects. Check out the Gallery Below!
It is October and art work is starting to fill the hallways. Check out the gallery for pictures. In second grade through fifth we are starting a unit on ceramics. In kindergarten and first we are starting a unit on weaving. Welcome back to the 2018-2019 school year. I am excited to see everyone. The Art room has a new paint job and it looks great.
